What's this about?
This is one of the many attempts to fight against generative AI. AI is effectively harming the art industry with all its hardworking people.
There are reason not to use generative AI. And it is not only the high number of jobs on the line. Facing the reality of lacking regulations: we need ways to protect art.
We must create art to fight ai, pay artists and search for a way to elevate products that do not want to support generative AI.
Humanity will loose any skills it doesn't exercise. Like creativity and the skill to put it into art.
Two problems
How to adress the commercial and social damage? And how can ai free art be verified?
Paid artists only
One idea to reduce the commercial and social damage is proving that all art is by paid artists.There are a lot of issues while proving the absence of generative AI. Thus one point can be proving that your product only includes work by artists that have been paid.
This assures that no artist is replaced by AI. These artists or their tools might still rely on generative AI.
The following label could be used. All labeled products must have verifiable IDs documented here.
No gen AI
The absence of generative AI cannot be proven to a large extend. The basic idea is to prove it in one of two different ways.
The first option is that a physical copy exists, which needs manual labor by a human being.
The other option is that video material shows the process of creation to a large degree.
There is still leeway to betray, but over all it hat to be managable.
